March 2024 – Ayoubi steel has completed the implementation of a racking system for a international governmental client. To satisfy the requirements of the client, Ayoubi steel designed a selective pallet racking system with 1,600 pallet positions. The total warehouse space was 2,700 square meter. The customer requested several racking heights, with one section of 4.6 meters and the other section of 2 meters. The client required the storage of furniture items. In order to reduce the amount of dust and improve circulation, the shelves used were perforated galvanized steel. The client also requested for the implementation of cantilever racking.

Ayoubi steel also installed diagonal beams between the double units for structural seismic support. The customers also requested for racking protections items such as upright and frame protectors. Each beam had a label-holder to indicate the type of product that was being stored. The load capacity for each storage level was 2 tons. With this configuration, the customer was able to store items of a total weight of around 1,600 tons.
